
Asbury Park is committed to organizing and executing ongoing relief efforts on behalf of Haiti’s earthquake victims. The city’s goal is to unite city officials, business owners, community leaders and New Jersey corporations behind ongoing fundraising efforts.

Proceeds from First Saturday fundraising efforts will be matched dollar for dollar by New Jersey Natural Gas! Funds raised will benefit the American Red Cross Jersey Coast Chapter, Coastal Habitat for Humanity Local Chapter, and the Ministry of Pastors for Haiti.

CURRENT FUNDRAISING PROMOTIONS
Watermark will donate 15% of Feb 6th proceeds to the Haiti Relief effort.
Pepsi (Local facility) is donating $2,500 through it's "Pepsi Local Volunteer Grant" program. Donation collection-banks (provided by Pepsi) will be placed throughout the City for ongoing collections.
RELIEF EVENTS
Saturday Feb. 6th, First Saturday Asbury Park
3:00 pm - Fundraising event at Coastal Habitat for Humanity (Third Ave & Memorial Drive)
4:00 pm - Screening of the Haitian documentary “Dreamers” at The ShowRoom (708 Cookman Ave)
7:00 pm - Press Plaza American Red Cross Jersey Coast Chapter will set up a temporary shelter display Charity Beneficiaries, Pepsi & New Jersey Natural Gas will be present
John C. Conover (corner of Cookman Ave & Main St.) will be collecting canned goods and clothing
The American Red Cross Jersey Coast Chapter Clothing truck will be stationed in Press Plaza to collect clothing. Donations from the day will be resold with all proceeds going to Haiti-relief efforts.
March 7, Memorial in the Paramount Theatre with The American Red Cross Jersey Coast Chapter. Refreshments being provided by Langosta Lounge and Carter Sackman
