DESCRIPTION:A Starry Night Art Auction & Reception” on June 8\, 2023 to benefit Ocean’s Harbor House. We are a non-profit organization celebrating 35 years of service in providing shelter\, support and services for homeless and vulnerable youth throughout the region. \nThis festive and celebratory event will be held outdoors at the John F. Peto Studio in Island Heights with art displayed throughout the beautiful grounds. The Studio Museum features the home and studio of John Frederick Peto (1854-1907) an important late nineteenth century figure in the trompe l’oeil style of American still life painting. This historic building is a precious gem in our community and a perfect host https://petomuseum.org/ to celebrate and support our kids. \nThis annual event features art created by our kids as part of the art therapy program. Guests can bid on the kid’s art plus art donated by local artists. \nHonorees for the evening are Judi and Stephan Leone. Judi served on the Ocean’s Harbor House Board of Directors and has been an ardent supporter of our mission. Stephen is a founding partner of Carluccio\, Leone\, Dimon\, Doyle & Sacks\, LLC and has served in various capacities of civic and professional organizations.\nProceeds help to provide vitally-needed shelter\, services and programs for homeless and vulnerable kids in Monmouth & Ocean counties.

SUMMARY:Post Animal at the Wonder Bar
DESCRIPTION:POST ANIMAL\nBeautiful Places Tour\nwith Slow Fiction \nChicago-based Post Animal are a band of brothers. They formed in 2014\, began touring in 2017\, released their debut album in 2018 and recently released their second album in 2020. Their affinity for slick riffs\, pop hooks\, and psychedelic tendencies join them in a bond much tighter than their years suggest. \nInitially formed when childhood friends\, bassist Dalton Allison and guitarist Matt Williams\, met keyboardist and guitarist Jake Hirshland\, Post Animal’s sound began to take shape when the two enlisted some more pals from both the Chicago music scene and through their time working at local burger joints. Rounding out the band’s lineup\, Post Animal is completed by drummer Wesley Toledo and guitarist Javi Reyes. \nLike most bands in Chicago’s inclusive music community\, Post Animal got their start playing DIY basements and small rock clubs. Between their impressive early releases and their wild live shows which feature the band members sharing lead vocal duties\, Post Animal have unquestionably solidified themselves as one of Chicago’s most exciting up-and-coming acts. \nAlmost impossible to describe\, the Post Animal bond is best observed while foolin’ at the merch table after a sweaty show.
