DESCRIPTION:The Wooden Walls Project will be presenting our 2nd annual\, “Art at the Carousel House”\, an art exhibition and experience at the historic Carousel House on the Asbury Park Boardwalk. Join us on Friday\, September 15th from 6-10 to celebrate art from the artists of the Wooden Walls Project.\nThe Carousel Art House is part gallery space\, part artist residency space and a constant source of inspiration to all those that visit. We are grateful to be able to bring this sacred space to life with art and experience.\nThe Wooden Walls Project connects the local arts community with the national and international art movement to bring art to people in the streets\, where it is freely accessible to all. A motivating principle of Wooden Walls is that by providing access to an intimate art experience to people who may not otherwise have access to art; Wooden Walls enriches both the lives of individuals and artists and creates a new generation of artists and art enthusiasts. As arts education and engagement becomes less accessible and more closely tied to class\, because of the cost of access or program cuts in public education or the reduction in number and location of facilities\, Wooden Walls strives to bring to the public at large the transformative power of the visual arts.\nCelebrate where art\, history and community collaborate\, culmination in a celebration of what of the many things that makes the Wooden Walls Project\, the Carousel House and Asbury Park so special.\n*All art sales benefit the art and the artists of the Wooden Walls project\, which is a registered 501 c3.\nFor more information about the Wooden Walls Project and our project\, events and exhibitions\, email Jenn at juicyjenn@parlor-gallery.com
