DESCRIPTION:Asbury Park Bazaar is excited to announce its upcoming Asbury Park Fall Bazaar ~ 10 Year Anniversary Celebration\, marking a decade of supporting local makers\, music\, and art in the vibrant community of Asbury Park\, NJ! \nThe event will take place at two fabulous locations: Grand Arcade of Convention Hall (Saturday & Sunday\, Sept 30 & Oct 1) and Asbury Lanes (Sat Sept 30) from 12-5 PM. \nSince its launch at Convention Hall ten years ago\, Asbury Park Bazaar has become a beloved event for both residents and visitors alike. With a focus on showcasing the talent and creativity found in the Jersey Shore and beyond\, the Bazaar has created a thriving platform for local makers and artisans to share their unique creations. \nAttendees can expect a one-of-a-kind shopping experience at historic Convention Hall and Asbury Lanes. A curated market of makers will offer an array of gifts and goods\, providing the perfect opportunity to support small businesses and find unique treasures. \nTo commemorate this milestone anniversary\, attendees will also be able to visit our 10 year immersive fall-themed photo station ~ the perfect backdrop for capturing memorable moments! \nThe celebration extends to the whole family\, with a range of activities for all ages including kids face painting and workshops to spark creativity and imagination. \nAsbury Park Bazaar invites attendees to join us to raise a glass to celebrate ten years during an Oktoberfest-themed celebration at Seahorse\, Asbury Oyster Bar & Asbury Lanes. SUMMARY:Special People United to Ride Family Barn Dance Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:SPUR PLANS FAMILY BARN DANCE FUNDRAISER \nPut on your dancing boots and grab your Stetson!\nSPUR (Special People United to Ride) is hosting a fall fundraiser Family Barn Dance on Sunday\, October 1. The event will be held in the Thompson Park Activity Center\, 805 Newman Springs Road\, Lincroft\, from 1 pm to 5 pm.  \nProceeds will benefit various aspects of SPUR’s therapeutic horsemanship program. The SPUR Board of Directors raises monies for need-based SPUR lesson scholarships for individuals with disabilities\, funds horse purchases and horse retirements and provides other material assistance to the Monmouth County Park System for the implementation of SPUR programs.  \nThe afternoon will be filled with music and line dancing instruction provided by BTK Entertainment. A 50/50 raffle is also planned.\n“Over the past years SPUR has raised funds for our horsemanship programs through an annual fundraising event.” notes Dennis Chamberlain\, SPUR President. “Virtual Runs were initiated the past three years due to the pandemic but this year we are excited to hold an in-person event for the whole family\, a Barn Dance at Thompson Park. Please join us for an afternoon of fun and to celebrate the work that SPUR does.”  \nTickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 10 years and under. They can be purchased at the door or online at spuronline.org. \nWorking in conjunction with the Monmouth County Park System\, Special People United to Ride (SPUR)\, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides individuals with disabilities the opportunity to achieve personal goals through therapeutic horsemanship. The Park System’s Sunnyside Equestrian Center provides a safe place for students to enjoy the freedom of riding and handling a horse\, offering the following Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies for both groups and individuals: Therapeutic Horseback Riding Lessons; Equine Environment for Learning Program; and Horses for Heroes: Programs & Workshops for Active Duty Personnel and Veterans. \nFor more information contact:\nKaren D.
