DESCRIPTION:Ocean’s Harbor House presents the 3rd Annual A Walk In Their Shoes. Building awareness for children and families experiencing homelessness. \n11.5.23\, 2 mile walk\, starts at 9:00am at the Asbury Park Boardwalk. $20 per person. Includes t-shirt and chance to win prizes. \nSign up as an individual or form a team! All participants receive a t-shirt and can participate in the “Give A Hand\, Get A Hand” on-site contest to win prizes. By supporting and participating in our annual 2-mile walk\, our communities can come together and plant seeds for change and enable our youth to feel safe today\, empowered tomorrow! \nOcean’s Harbor House provides shelter\, support\, and services for vulnerable youth\, enabling them to unlock their potential by learning skills that empower them to build successful lives\, relationships\, and futures. Youth from across the state and especially Ocean and Monmouth counties come to our programs having endured many unsafe experiences causing them to be at increased risk for a variety of social and physical dangers. With a multi-layered menu of services\, we meet at risk young people where they are and help them build bright tomorrows.
