DESCRIPTION:North 2 Shore presents\nSTREETLIGHT MANIFESTO\non The Stone Pony Summer Stage \nSeven guys\, seven different musical backgrounds\, seven different personalities\, one band\, one unique and unmistakable voice. Formed in New Jersey as an ad hoc group intended to put out one album and disappear\, one thing lead to another\, and within a few months of their debut release\, Everything Goes Numb\, Streetlight Manifesto was officially a full time touring band\, traveling the world\, spreading their infectious and energetic tunes to all who would listen. A high energy rock band with more horn players than traditional rock instruments\, with influences from latin\, klezmer\, folk\, world\, funk\, jazz\, and classical music all blending into one cohesive sound\, the band has somehow come a long way from where they started while staying true to their DIY roots. Twenty years later\, the guys are still at it\, still performing live to sold-out shows filled with sweat-drenched fans\, all dancing and singing along at the top of their lungs. \n6:00pm – 10:30pm

HEDWIG was originally staged Off Broadway in 1998 and later revived on Broadway to win the Tony Award for Best Musical Revival in 2014. This production is in collaboration with the Asbury Park Theater Company.

SUMMARY:John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band
DESCRIPTION:North 2 Shore presents\nJohn Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band \nHailing from Rhode Island the band quickly adopted NJ as their second home while becoming one of the hottest East Coast circuit bands in the late 70’s. JCBBB frequented top Jersey Shore venues including The Fastlane\, Big Mans West\, Tony Mart’s and the Stone Pony. They burst on to the national scene in the 1980s\, with the “Eddie and the Cruisers” Motion Picture Soundtrack (filmed at Tony Mart and Somers Point locations.) The hit single “On The Dark Side” held the #1 position on the Billboard Rock charts and the MTV video charts for five consecutive weeks. The album sold over 3 million copies and was certified triple Platinum by the RIAA. The fictional band Eddie and the Cruisers that they portrayed in the film Eddie and The Cruisers was ranked by Rolling Stone as one of the 25 Greatest Movie Rock Bands. \nJohn Cafferty and the BBB is still revered by fans and critics alike as one of the “top live rock shows” out there today! Their shows are generally a good time Rock’N’Roll marathon loaded with the Cafferty hits\, fan favorites\, and plenty of R&B classics! Three founding members are driving the band into their 51st year: Gary Gramolini on lead guitar\, Michael “Tunes” Antunes on saxophone\, and John Cafferty vocals and guitar.
