In this workshop\, you’ll create an illustrated portrait of your furry (or feathered!) friend while learning foundational watercolor techniques along the way. \nWe’ll cover: \n\nHow to properly handle watercolor and brushes\nBasic color theory and mixing for realistic fur tones\nLine weight and expressive detail\nHow to accurately transfer a photo to paper\n\nYou’ll leave with a finished portrait that captures your pet’s personality. Important: Please email us clear photos of your pet in advance so we can prepare your reference. If you’re torn between a few favorites\, send them all and we’ll help you choose (or you can crowdsource from the class). No experience necessary. Just bring your love for your animal and we’ll guide you the rest of the way.
