SUMMARY:🚍 Asbury Park Free Shuttle Service! 🚍
DESCRIPTION:Friday\, August 28\, 2026\, at 1pm\, the City of Asbury Park will launch a free shuttle service. The shuttle will run on a fixed route around the city\, picking up passengers from designated bus stops along Cookman Avenue\, Ocean Avenue\, Deal Lake Drive\, Main Street\, and Springwood Avenue. A map of the route and all bus stops can be found at www.cityofasburypark.com/shuttle.\n\n\nNo fares or tips will be accepted\, as this service is entirely free. The service is also handicap accessible and able to accommodate all riders.\n\n\nOperating Fridays\, Saturdays\, and Sundays from 12pm to 8pm\, the Asbury Park Free Shuttle will connect residents and visitors to business districts throughout the city\, allowing residents to leave their cars at home and visitors to park once and experience all Asbury Park has to offer.\n\n\nThe shuttle is funded by the State of New Jersey

SUMMARY:Adult One-Time Introductory Classes
DESCRIPTION:Join our one time class to learn the basics of handbuilding! All participants must be at least 6 years old\, and accompanied by an adult if they are younger than 10 years old. \nThere is a $20.00 fee if you would like to keep what you throw. We will then finish and glaze your piece with a color of your choosing\, and your piece will be ready for pick up 4 weeks after your class. We will notify you when your piece is finished\, and we will hold your piece for 1 month after its completion before donating it. Please note that you must clean your wheel and area thoroughly at the end of class. \nThe kiln is an unpredictable place\, and occasionally pieces may not successfully make it through both firings intact. If this happens\, we will work with you to find a fair solution. We are all heartbroken over his sudden passing and will hold him in our hearts forever. \nWe were blessed to have him in our lives. For the past 16 years\, he has been doing benefits at the Wonder Bar for Asbury Boardwalk Rescue\, which is dedicated to helping abandoned dogs and cats and any other animals in need. He also did a benefit every year for our American veterans to honor and thank them. \nTony ‘Boccigalupe’ Amato is bringing Vinny Pastore’s Gangster Squad to the Wonder Bar preceded by a tribute from Nick Wey and of course Mr. Ron Brooks honoring our great country with The Star-Spangled Banner.
