DESCRIPTION:Dive into the colorful world of glass mosaic art! In this hands-on\, beginner-friendly workshop\, you’ll learn the essentials of glass cutting\, design\, and mosaic techniques to create your very own framed masterpiece. \nSession 1: You’ll be introduced to the tools and materials\, learn basic glass cutting skills\, and begin laying out your design on an 8″ x 8″ panel. A variety of beginner-friendly templates will be available to choose from — or\, if you have a bit of experience\, you’re welcome to bring your own printed design to work from! You’ll cut\, arrange\, and glue your glass pieces into place with plenty of guidance along the way. \nSession 2: Once your artwork has had time to set\, you’ll return to learn the grouting process — bringing your mosaic to life with finishing touches that make your colors pop. Your finished piece will be set into a frame\, ready to hang on your wall or display in a sunny window. This two-part workshop is designed to be relaxed\, creative\, and highly supportive — no previous experience needed\, just a willingness to play with color\, texture\, and light! \nWhat’s included: \n\nAll glass\, tools\, adhesives\, grout\, and frames\nStep-by-step instruction\nA variety of designs to choose from (or bring your own idea!)\n\nSession Details: \n\nSession 1: Learn to cut glass\, plan your design\, and complete your mosaic layout.\nSession 2: Grout\, clean\, and frame your finished artwork.\n\nCome experience the joy of turning shattered glass into something beautiful!

SUMMARY:Adult One-Time Introductory Classes
DESCRIPTION:Join our one time class to learn the basics of handbuilding! All participants must be at least 6 years old\, and accompanied by an adult if they are younger than 10 years old. \nThere is a $20.00 fee if you would like to keep what you throw. We will then finish and glaze your piece with a color of your choosing\, and your piece will be ready for pick up 4 weeks after your class. We will notify you when your piece is finished\, and we will hold your piece for 1 month after its completion before donating it. Please note that you must clean your wheel and area thoroughly at the end of class. \nThe kiln is an unpredictable place\, and occasionally pieces may not successfully make it through both firings intact. If this happens\, we will work with you to find a fair solution.
