SUMMARY:Little Makers Mondays at the Asbury Art Club 👦🏽
DESCRIPTION:Start the week by making something together. Little Makers Monday is a special art experience created for children ages 4–7 and their grown-ups. \nEach Monday\, families will explore a new project designed especially for young artists. A certified art educator will introduce the materials and guide children and caregivers as they paint\, build\, collage\, experiment\, and create side by side. \nCome anytime between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and plan to spend approximately 1–2 hours creating together. \n$35 for one child and their grown-up\n$22 for each additional child \nAll materials are included. This is a shared family experience rather than a drop-off class. Every child must attend with a participating parent\, guardian\, or caregiver. \nEach Little Makers Monday features a special project developed for young children. Our certified art educators will introduce the project\, demonstrate the materials\, and provide support throughout the experience. Children are encouraged to make their own creative choices\, while their grown-ups help\, participate\, and create alongside them.

DESCRIPTION:Our one-time Grown Up & Me wheel classes are 90 minutes long. This is a great way for adults & children to learn the basics of pottery while also getting a feel for the wheel in a casual\, relaxed environment. \nChildren must be at least 7 years old‍\, and no older than 17 years old ‍to participate.Children younger than 7 can register for one of our Grown Up & Me (Handbuilding) classes. Registration must be made for both adult and child participants. \nAll tools are included for these classes. \nCancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the start of your class for a refund. 24 hours is required to reschedule. All cancellation and/ or rescheduling requests must be made via email to longbranch@blueskiespottery.com. \nWe ask that you please arrive 5 minutes early. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late\, it is up to the studio’s discretion whether we will honor your reservation. Late arrivals will not be rescheduled.

SUMMARY:Adult One-Time Introductory Classes
DESCRIPTION:Join our one time class to learn the basics of handbuilding! All participants must be at least 6 years old\, and accompanied by an adult if they are younger than 10 years old. \nThere is a $20.00 fee if you would like to keep what you throw. We will then finish and glaze your piece with a color of your choosing\, and your piece will be ready for pick up 4 weeks after your class. We will notify you when your piece is finished\, and we will hold your piece for 1 month after its completion before donating it. Please note that you must clean your wheel and area thoroughly at the end of class. \nThe kiln is an unpredictable place\, and occasionally pieces may not successfully make it through both firings intact. If this happens\, we will work with you to find a fair solution. DESCRIPTION:Friday\, August 28\, 2026\, at 1pm\, the City of Asbury Park will launch a free shuttle service. The shuttle will run on a fixed route around the city\, picking up passengers from designated bus stops along Cookman Avenue\, Ocean Avenue\, Deal Lake Drive\, Main Street\, and Springwood Avenue. A map of the route and all bus stops can be found at www.cityofasburypark.com/shuttle.\n\n\nNo fares or tips will be accepted\, as this service is entirely free. The service is also handicap accessible and able to accommodate all riders.\n\n\nOperating Fridays\, Saturdays\, and Sundays from 12pm to 8pm\, the Asbury Park Free Shuttle will connect residents and visitors to business districts throughout the city\, allowing residents to leave their cars at home and visitors to park once and experience all Asbury Park has to offer.\n\n\nThe shuttle is funded by the State of New Jersey
