SUMMARY:Citywide Speed Limit Notification
DESCRIPTION:City of Asbury Park Reduces Speed Limit to 25 MPH Citywide to Increase Safety \nSpeed limits along Main Street and Memorial Drive are being reduced from 30 mph to 25 mph to match the existing speed limits on all other City roadways. The change gives drivers more time to react\, reducing the risk of severe injury or fatalities in collisions—especially for pedestrians and cyclists. It also supports a more walkable\, bike-friendly community\, encourages exploration of local businesses and parks\, and helps reduce traffic noise. For more information\, visit www.cityofasburypark.com/25mph.

SUMMARY:New Jersey Clearwater Festival - Celebrating 50 Years!
DESCRIPTION:NJ Friends of Clearwater Festival is back in Asbury Park for our 50th Annual Festival! \nWe are excited to return this summer for our grand 50th Festival\, featuring a special appearance by our founder\, folksinger Bob Killian. In the early 1970’s\, Bob spent several years with Pete Seeger\, appearing on many albums as a Sloop Singer\, and helping to stage events that brought attention to the environment and the severe pollution of the Hudson River. \nOur annual open-air music festival celebrates the spirit of people working and singing together to protect our environment. It is also the networking hub in New Jersey for sharing ideas on environmental protection. \nTwo music stages with the finest in folk and rock music\, crafts and green vendors\, enviro-activists\, food trucks\, special activities for children\, and discussion round-tables\, combine to continue our tradition of fun\, inspiration\, and education. It also honors the fellowship of song\, started by our spiritual founder\, Pete Seeger\, more than 50 years ago. \nWhen: Saturday\, August 30\nWhere: Sunset Park\, 1305 Main Street\, Asbury Park\, 07712 (between Sunset & Fifth Avenues) \nVolunteers are needed! \nFurther info: festival@njclearwater.org.
