SUMMARY:Michelle Branch at The Stone Pony
DESCRIPTION:MICHELLE BRANCH\nEverywhere And Back Again Tour \nMichelle Branch was 17 years old when she signed to Madonna’s Maverick Records. In 2001\, she released her highly acclaimed debut album\, The Spirit Room\, which featured the hit singles “Everywhere” (MTV Video Music Award Viewer’s Choice winner)\, “All You Wanted” and “Goodbye to You”\, and ushered in a new era of young women writing and performing their own songs. The album went on to sell 3 million copies worldwide\, and was certified double-Platinum in the U.S.\, Platinum in Japan\, Gold in Australia and Canada\, and Silver in the U.K.\, among others. Branch won a Grammy Award for her 2002 collaboration with Carlos Santana\, “The Game of Love\,” which peaked at No. 5 on Billboard’s Hot 100\, No. 1 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart\, and was a major international hit. Her second album\, 2003’s Hotel Paper\, debuted at No. 2 on the US Billboard album chart and was a top 10 hit around world. Certified Platinum in the U.S.\, and Gold in Australia\, Canada and Japan\, it spawned the hit single “Are You Happy Now?\,” which was nominated for a Grammy for Best Female Rock Performance (she was also nominated for Best New Artist). In 2006\, Branch found success with Jessica Harp as modern-country duo The Wreckers\, whose debut Stand Still\, Look Pretty was praised by critics for breaking down barriers between pop and country. The Gold-certified album spawned the hit single “Leave the Pieces\,” which topped the Hot Country Songs chart for several weeks\, and earned Branch her fourth Grammy nomination\, as well as “My Oh My” and “Tennessee”. In 2017\, Branch released her critically acclaimed fourth album\, Hopeless Romantic (Verve)\, co-produced with her husband Patrick Carney (The Black Keys). SUMMARY:Melting Waves Music Fest 2026
DESCRIPTION:Every fest needs an origin story\, and this one started with a dude\, flippin’ burgers\, building a playlist. \nIt began behind the grill at Bond Street Bar in Asbury Park\, NJ\, where Joe Brown built a playlist to keep up with the songs his best friend Steve and mentor Mike “OG” Longo kept feeding him. Somewhere along the way that playlist gained a bunch of followers and turned into a whole ecosystem\, first bands submitting tracks via email\, then the lightbulb moment of taking the submissions to the next level and letting bands know they have a home to play in Asbury Park\, submissions turned into shows\, shows turned into the opportunity to book the Bond Street Block Party\, which he took over in ’25. Melting Waves is the next chapter…no longer borrowing someone else’s block party\, this is Melting Trends very own festival\, born from that same daydreaming-behind-a-grill energy and landing this November at Asbury Lanes. \nEighteen bands\, two days\, a specific lane: psych\, garage\, stoner\, and shoegaze\, AND adjacent genres that just somehow fit the bill. \nTHE LINEUP \nWes Parker \nTrophy Wife \nGods \nRachel Ana Dobken \nSunshine Spazz \nSun Voyager \n95 Bulls \nCertain Death \nLabretta Suede & the Motel 6 \nThe Dracu-las \nDüül Suns \nSlomo Sapiens \nVon Mons \nCairo Jag \nSöūp \nThe Painted Windows \nOwl Doom (members of Dentist) \nJudo Chop

SUMMARY:Fantastic Cat at The Stone Pony 😺
DESCRIPTION:Hailed by Rolling Stone as “a wildly satisfying collection of folk-rock\, country\, Americana\, and good old rock & roll\,” Fantastic Cat gleefully careens between genres and decades\, mixing electrified 60’s roots and 70’s AM radio gold as they diligently work craftsmanship and ecstatic abandon in equal measure.\nIndividually\, each member of Fantastic Cat boasts their own impressive resume along with a litany of critical acclaim. The Guardian dubbed Don DiLego “one to watch.” NPR said Anthony D’Amato “sings and writes in the tradition of Bruce Springsteen or Josh Ritter.” Rolling Stone called Brian Dunne’s latest single a “stunner” and praised Mike Montali’s band\, Hollis Brown\, as “the soundtrack for a late-night drive through the American heartland.” Collectively\, though\, the four transcend their respective roots\, emerging as an instrument-swapping\, harmony-trading\, tear-jerking\, wise-cracking rock and roll cooperative far greater than the sum of its parts. \nCome experience Fantastic Cat live always a wildly energetic and entertaining show!

SUMMARY:Nicole Atkins with ISTA\, John Gallagher at the Wonder Bar
DESCRIPTION:“This whole album is almost like my fight against loneliness\,” says Nicole Atkins of her latest release\, Drama.  “A lot of the songs came out of the fact that my husband and I basically have a long distance relationship. We’re both on the road. He’s a tour manager. I’m an artist. We can be apart for months at a time.” Those feelings of isolation and separation\, complicated by sleep problems and some career uncertainty\, left Atkins feeling overwhelmed at times. “I had to write myself through a lot.” \nAs the material started to take shape\, she felt like she was “building a life raft\,” and not only for herself.  “With everything going on in the world\, it’s easy to forget that we’re all the same\,” she says. “We’re being disconnected and pulled apart. We’re longing for connection. That’s what I want to write and sing about\, and hopefully by doing that\, make people feel a little less lonely.”

SUMMARY:Dave Hause And The Mermaid at The Stone Pony
DESCRIPTION:DAVE HAUSE AND THE MERMAID \n“As far back as I can remember\, I always wanted to be in a rock and roll band.” \nDave Hause had an epiphany rewatching Goodfellas. “There’s that scene in the beginning where Henry Hill says\, ‘As far back as I can remember\, I always wanted to be a gangster.’” The Philly-bred\, California-based singer-songwriter always longed to be in a different kind of mob. \n“This record is my realization that\, as far back as I can remember\, I always wanted to be in a rock and roll band. This record is that rock and roll band distilled into 10 songs.” \nThis record is …And The Mermaid. And those 10 songs offer a welcome shock to the system\, blending Hause’s signature lyrical elan and gift for surging melodies with his keening vocals and some deliciously sharp musical elbows courtesy of the titular group.
