DESCRIPTION:🌈 Celebrate PRIDE in Asbury Park!!! 🌈\nNew Jersey’s 33rd Annual Statewide LGBTQ+ Pride Celebration. \nSunday\, June 1st\nNoon-7pm\, rain or shine \nNew Jersey’s 33rd Annual Statewide LGBTQ+ Pride Celebration will be held in-person on Sunday\, June 1st 2025. As always\, those behind the scenes have been working closely with the host city of Asbury Park to ensure the safety of all participants. It is the largest\, and oldest\, LGBTQ Pride Celebration in the garden state\, with attendance under normal circumstances surpassing 20\,000. \n🌈 Celebrate love\, diversity\, and community at New Jersey’s 33rd Annual Statewide LGBTQ+ Pride Celebration on Sunday\, June 1\, 2025. Join thousands in Asbury Park for a day filled with joy\, solidarity\, and unforgettable experiences. 🌈 \nPARADE AT NOON! \nRALLY – against a backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean\, and New Jersey’s famous boardwalk\, national headliners and local artists share the rally stage for a six hour outdoor concert. \nThe Pride Festival provides an opportunity for community groups and businesses to distribute a wide variety of information\, including job opportunities\, housing options\, family issues\, disease prevention and screening\, sources of support for victims of violence and abuse\, legal rights and services\, and the availability of support for issues that the queer community faces. This family (and pet) friendly event also features NJ’s largest outdoor display of the Names Project’s AIDS Memorial Quilt\, rides in our Family Zone\, and an array of eating options at our food court. \n📍 Event Overview \n\nDate: Sunday\, June 1\, 2025\nTime: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM\, rain or shine\nLocation: Festival grounds between Sunset Lake and Convention Hall\, Asbury Park\nHear from inspiring speakers and enjoy powerful performances throughout the day\nAdmission: $10 (includes access to the Festival and Rally grounds\, food court\, family zone\, and more)\n\n🎉 Parade Details \n\nStart Time: 12:00 PM sharp\nRoute: Begins at Asbury Park City Hall\, proceeds south on Main Street\, turns left onto Cookman Avenue\, then left onto Grand Avenue\, and continues north to Sunset Avenue\, ending at the festival grounds\n\n🎶 Festival Highlights \n\nLive Entertainment: Enjoy performances by local and national LGBTQ+ musicians\, drag performers\, and other entertainers\nFood & Vendors: Savor a variety of cuisines and explore offerings from LGBTQ+ advocacy groups and merchants\nFamily Zone: Engage in activities suitable for all ages\, including face painting and crafts\n\n🚗 Getting There \n\nBy Train: Take NJ Transit’s North Jersey Coast Line to Asbury Park Station\, located just a short walk from the parade starting point.\nBy Car: Asbury Park is accessible via Route 71\, with several private parking lots nearby.
