Their breakthrough song “Numbers with Wings” garnered the group a major cult following and a nomination at the first MTV Video Music Awards. Originally initiated in 2019\, by west coast transplants\, Rex Costello and Oliver Hart\, the two found themselves in Brooklyn New York\, combining forces in the studio with producer Sam Cohen.
