Visitors and residents enjoy a revitalized boardwalk with shops and restaurants\, a lively beach\, live music\, a thriving arts scene\, boutique hotels\, and cultural attractions. The town’s spirit is also known for its vibrant\, creative community.​ \nThe opening reception for the exhibit will be held on Saturday September 20th from 7-9pm. This event is free and open to the public. DESCRIPTION:Live Original Music\nNashbury: an Asbury Park Writers Round \nNashbury is a monthly invitational songwriters showcase in the style of Nashville writers rounds. Three to five songwriters are invited to perform each month in a round-robin format. Songwriters are encouraged to collaborate\, discuss their creative process\, and share stories behind their works in an effort to not only showcase their work\, but also build a robust and supportive songwriting community in Asbury Park and Monmouth County.   \nPlease note\, Nashbury is not an open-mic\, and songwriters are scheduled by invitation. If you would like to perform at Nashbury\, please submit the information below via email to jordan@asburybookcoop.org\, and Asbury Book Cooperative will make best efforts to get you on the schedule. There are no genre limitations or experience requirements. If you write songs\, you are welcome. We can’t wait to hear your stuff! \nFree and open to the public!
