SUMMARY:Glass Mosaic Workshop at Over the Moon Studios
DESCRIPTION:Dive into the colorful world of glass mosaic art! In this hands-on\, beginner-friendly workshop\, you’ll learn the essentials of glass cutting\, design\, and mosaic techniques to create your very own framed masterpiece. \nDuring Session 1\, you’ll be introduced to the tools and materials\, learn basic glass cutting skills\, and begin laying out your design on an 8″ x 8″ panel. A variety of beginner-friendly templates will be available to choose from — or\, if you have a bit of experience\, you’re welcome to bring your own printed design to work from! You’ll cut\, arrange\, and glue your glass pieces into place with plenty of guidance along the way. \nIn Session 2\, once your artwork has had time to set\, you’ll return to learn the grouting process — bringing your mosaic to life with finishing touches that make your colors pop. Your finished piece will be set into a frame\, ready to hang on your wall or display in a sunny window.
