DESCRIPTION:Divine Currents\nJuly 12 – August 16\, 2025 \nOpening Reception: Saturday\, July 12\, 5 – 8pm\nExhibition Hours: Weds – Sat | 12 – 6pm starting July 16 \nJoin Transformer at the beach this summer!\nTransformer’s 9th annual Siren Arts summer artist residency program presents haus of bambi in their first residency program!! \nhaus of bambi – featuring Farrah Skeiky\, Bambi\, King Molasses\, JaxKnife Complex\, Bumper\, and Miss Grace David – is a pantheon of artists from Washington\, DC that uses make-believe to tell the truth. With Divine Currents\, the haus explores the intersections of dance\, ritual\, photography\, and sculptural form to harness the immutable forces that lead us to one another. \nLaunched in 2017 by Transformer’s Founder & Director Victoria Reis\, Siren Arts is an innovative program based in Asbury Park\, NJ that supports multidisciplinary emerging artists through exhibitions\, a summer artist residency program\, and a public performance art series. \nTransformer’s goal with Siren Arts is to empower participating artists\, and to build and connect community in celebration of the ocean\, the intersectional effects of climate change\, and human & environmental interconnectedness\, while introducing and advancing innovative contemporary art practices.
