DESCRIPTION:Grab your favorite adventure buddy and join us for a sunset bird walk in Asbury Park on Saturday\, October 18 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm. We will look out for wading birds\, songbirds\, and anyone else who is in the area. \nBirding is for everyone. All are welcome on our friendly and respectful Beachy Birder Adventures! \n​We will meet at Atlantic Square Park and then head to Sunset Lake. We will walk for about two miles. Please dress for the weather\, wear closed-toe shoes\, bring water\, layers\, snacks\, a hat\, and binoculars if you have them. We have five pairs of 8×25 birding binoculars for you to borrow as needed\, and we will have a spotting scope to look through as well. \nOur outings are rain or shine but in the event of extreme weather we will reschedule for a more enjoyable experience. Let’s get birdy! \nMeet at Atlantic Square Park\n1301 Kingsley St\, Asbury Park\, NJ 07712 \nCost: $25/person (children under 5 are free)\nSpace is limited to 25 to ensure a small group experience.
