DESCRIPTION:Embodying the Tarot\n~a union of our yoga practice and tarot\nWith AMY NOVACK\nFriday\, November 4th 6:30 – 8:00p $35 \nJoin Amy as we make our way through the major arcana of the tarot deck. Tarot and yoga are both great tools to help us get in touch with our intuition\, and find clarity about ourselves and our lives. \nThe major arcana represents the big lessons in life\, it’s often called the souls journey. \nIn this class we will embody some of these cards as we move through a sequence of yin and restorative poses. We will use props to allow our bodies to sink in and feel the energy and meaning of these cards. Hands on adjustments and energy work will be included too. DESCRIPTION:Sound Healing with Carolan\nFriday\, October 21sth\, 2022 – 6:30p\, $30 \nSound Healing dates as far back as Ancient Egypt and its benefits range from deep relaxation to cellular repair. The harmonic sounds and vibrations stimulate the beta\, alpha\, theta\, delta\, and gamma brain waves\, inducing a deep\, peaceful state or meditation. Sound Healing is the use of sounds and these vibrations which can be a combination of various instruments; crystal singing bowls\, gongs\, Tibetan singing bowls\, tuning forks and the power of your own voice.\nSome of the benefits of this workshop; include a reduction of stress and anxiety\, strengthening of the immune system\, improved sleep\, a calmer and more peaceful state of being\, tension release\, clearing blocked energy and re-balancing our energy centers creates \nWHAT TO EXPECT…\nOur class will begin with breath and body awareness to help center and ground the body. Toning of the 7 sacred chakra vowels will be introduced along with the matching vibrational sounds of the quartz crystal bowls to help align\, open and balance each of our 7 chakra energy centers.
