DESCRIPTION:The TANJ Youth Arts Festival is a celebration of Teen Arts New Jersey’s Youth Arts Initiative\, that took place in Asbury Park from March through October\, 2026. \nEnjoy Events Multiple Venues! \nHouse of Independents: \n10:00 AM – 4:00 PM\nAll Day Long!: \nDJ Gabagool’s open mic & karaoke on the Main Stage & Trenton Circus Squad on the Standing Room Floor! Meet our community partners & Drop-In Art Activities. \nDrop In Art Activities: \nFace Painting\, Caricature Artist\, Junk Puppets\, Watercolor Painting\, Community Mural Wall\, Button Making\, Zombie SFX Makeup\, Mask Making \nNOON Complimentary lunch will be served to all those in attendance (while supplies last). \n12:30 p.m. A special thank you to our partners and volunteers on the Main Stage. \n1 p.m. Super Art Fight\, the Greatest Live Art Competition in the Known Universe! DESCRIPTION:Join us for an action packed evening at The Showroom Cinema! This Family Friendly Game Night will be hosted by our very own Arts High Performing Arts Teacher Trish Tyler! Whether you are there to play\, or just watch\, she will get you in on the action with your game play.\nEach Attendee will receive a small drink and a popcorn!\nRound 1: Charades 4:15pm-5:15pm\nIntermission\nRound 2: Pictionary 5:45pm-6:45pm\nAbout Our Emcee!\nLex Friedman is a comedian\, improvisor\, actor\, podcaster\, and puzzle maker based in Manalapan\, New Jersey. He publishes many daily puzzles every day at Lex.Games\, runs the Scrabble-inspired app Tile & Error\, and performs competitive improv twice a month with ComedySportz Jersey Shore. Lex is also appearing in the musical Jagged Little Pill at Playhouse 22 in June.\nGet a free gift card to a local restaurant for attending the workshop!\nThis programming was made possible by grant funding through The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) under Phase II of the Activation\, Revitalization\, and Transformation (A.R.T.) program in partnership with The New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
