The Beach Office on the Asbury Park Boardwalk is open now!
RATES:
Purchase Daily Beach Passes on Viply Mobile App, at Beach Office or 7th Avenue Beach Booth.
DAILY
- Monday through Friday- $6
- Weekends and Holidays- $9
- Daily beach passes can only be used for the day they are purchased.
- Children under 12 are free and do not need a beach pass to access the beach, but must be supervised by an adult.
- No refunds for daily passes will be given for any reason.
- Daily beach passes will be available for purchase through the Viply mobile app each day at 6:30pm for the following day only (www.viplypass.com)
- Each app user is permitted to purchase a maximum of four (4) daily beach passes each day.
- For any Viply purchases of daily passes, please visit the Beach Office, any Beach Booth or the Gate Guard and simply scan in your app to receive a wristband that is valid for the day.
- Daily passes may also be purchased at the Beach Office or at the 7th Avenue Beach Booth. Sales must be made credit card only. No cash transactions.

Dog Regulations
From May 16 to September 14, licensed and supervised dogs in Asbury Park can enjoy the Deal Lake Dog Beach during specified hours:
- 6 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. only.
- Dogs must be off the beach by 8:30 a.m.
- Dogs may be off leash on the Deal Lake Dog Beach if properly supervised.
- Dogs are not permitted on the Boardwalk from May 16 to September 14.
From September 15 through May 15, licensed and supervised dogs in Asbury Park can enjoy the boardwalk and Deal Lake Dog Beach:
- All times from September 15 to May 15.
- Dogs must be leashed at all times while on the boardwalk.
- Dogs may be off leash on the Deal Lake Dog Beach if properly supervised.
Please Remember
- All dogs must wear collars with valid dog licenses.
- All dogs must be on a leash (unless in the designated off-leash area on the Deal Lake Dog Beach).
- Dog handlers must remain with their dogs and supervise their dogs at all times.
- Dog handlers must always and immediately clean up after their dogs.
- Dog handlers are strictly liable for any incidents that occur involving their dogs.

Dogs that become aggressive or uncontrollable must be
immediately leashed and removed from the area. - Dogs are not permitted on beaches other than the Deal Lake Dog Beach.
FISHING IN ASBURY PARK
Asbury Park’s beaches are great for anglers of all ages. Striped bass, bluefish, fluke, flounder, weakfish, and others can be caught surf fishing in Asbury Park. Before you fish make sure to register with the Saltwater Fishing Registry.
Asbury Park is also home to the oldest saltwater fishing club in the United States. Learn more about the Asbury Park Fishing Club.
SURFING IN ASBURY PARK
Asbury Park is a great spot for surfers of all ages and levels of experience. The 8th Avenue Surfing Only Beach is the best spot for more experienced surfers, whereas the rest of Asbury Park’s beaches are great for beginner and intermediate level surfers. Just make sure you listen to the lifeguards!
