Special guest for BASIC at Asbury Jams is Dave Hill, a multi-talented comedian, writer, actor and musician known for his work on shows like Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Girls5eva and HBO’s Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, where his band Valley Lodge’s song “Go” serves as the theme. A Cleveland native turned New Yorker, Dave has also starred in his own series The King of Miami, contributed to This American Life and is the resident heavy metal expert on Malcolm Gladwell and Rick Rubin’s Broken Record podcast.
