Lake Street Dive

Lake Street Dive delivers the kind of smooth and breezy sweet soul-pop that takes you back to 70s yacht rock, but with a fresh twist. Melding jazz, soul, rock & roll, and pop with ease, they’ve become a force to be reckoned with, showcasing remarkable musicianship, inventiveness and infectious energy while never losing their mastery of melody and rhythm. Their music has been described as a party thrown by the Beatles and Motown, a kind of “Motown meets the Brill Building in jazzy, soulful, woulda-been Sixties chart toppers.” Because of their dexterity and fluid sound, they remain pop’s outliers, never quite fitting into any one category, but always producing music that is both unique and irresistible.
