Pet Portrait Painting Workshop at Over the Moon Studios

Turn your beloved pet into a one-of-a-kind watercolor portrait. In this workshop, you’ll create an illustrated portrait of your furry (or feathered!) friend while learning foundational watercolor techniques along the way.

We’ll cover:

• How to properly handle watercolor and brushes
• Basic color theory and mixing for realistic fur tones
• Line weight and expressive detail
• How to accurately transfer a photo to paper

You’ll leave with a finished portrait that captures your pet’s personality. Important: Please email us clear photos of your pet in advance so we can prepare your reference. If you’re torn between a few favorites, send them all and we’ll help you choose (or you can crowdsource from the class). No experience necessary. Just bring your love for your animal and we’ll guide you the rest of the way.
