Sandy Mack leads a stellar rotating house band for two long sets of classic rock, jam and blues with plenty of good ol’ Grateful Dead! Live music starts early at 4:20 with special guest openers and surprise guest musicians.
To the Jersey Shore music fans, he is an ambassador of everything good about our music scene whose presence is familiar as a favorite club or neighborhood watering hole. To his fellow music makers, he’s the go-to man for all manner of sessions and sitting-in situations — a blues harp ace who can stake out harmonious common ground with acoustic old-schoolers, supercharged ax slingers, roots rockers and alt-Americana songsmiths alike. Or, as local radio linchpin Rich Robinson said, “he could sit in with anybody like he’s played with them forever.”
Sandy Mack is the ultimate ringmaster of a weekly ritual that rivals any family’s most cherished Sunday-sauce tradition. The Wonder Jam 2025 returns with an extended fanbase of musical regulars, guest players, fans, friends, and always interesting cast of Asbury Park characters now known as the “Jamily.” Join us when Sandy Mack’s Sunday Jam comes home to the Wonder Bar!
