Wood-Burning Workshop at Over the Moon Art Studio

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you will wood-burn your very own serving board and take home something you actually made with your hands. Choose from a variety of design patterns that we will transfer onto your wood, then learn the basics of wood burning and how to use different mark-making techniques to bring it to life.
We’ll cover:
- How to safely use a wood-burning pen
- Basic mark-making techniques, including lines, shading, and texture
- How to transfer a design pattern onto wood
- How to finish and care for your board
You’ll leave with a completed serving board that’s totally your own. No experience necessary — just show up ready to make something. Due to the nature of the hot pen, this workshop is recommended for ages 16 and up.
