Deal Lake is New Jersey's largest coastal lake. The lake borders seven communities which include Ocean Twp., Asbury Park, Neptune, Deal, Loch Arbour, Allenhurst and Interlaken. This beautiful and beneficial resource has seen much deterioration and is in need of support to help return it to its former glory. The DLWA, in partnership with Clean Ocean Action, Rutgers & Monmouth Universities, and the Deal Lake Commission, will collaborate on ways to engage citizens, communities, and municipal leaders to take action to reduce runoff, which is the main cause of shoreline erosion, sediment buildup and toxins that pollute our lake as well as the ocean.
