    Founder and principal of Ronald j Zeytoonian Architect PC, “RJZAPC”, Ron Zeytoonian understands that excellent design is key in delivering long term value for the client and the community. His 30-year expertise in commercial and residential planning and design gives him a solid perspective on how and what works to improve the quality of each project. A veteran of large-scale projects in the mixed-use sector with a passion for integrating office, residential, hospitality and retail into a self-supporting whole, Ron also brings extensive client-side knowledge of real estate due diligence, tenant coordination and pre-development concepts to each of his projects.

    Ron’s leadership acumen was gained through his prior experiences working with renowned firms including FXCollaborative, Elkus-Manfredi Ltd, Related Companies, Simon Property Group and Callison. Ron’s design and project management skills has led to the success of transformative projects in New York, where the Shops at Columbus Center and Hudson Yards have revitalized underutilized districts. In Palo Alto California, Ron was the director of planning and design for Simon property group where he managed the renovation and expansion of the much-cherished Stanford Shopping Center retail and its outdoor pedestrian spaces.

    Ron has authority in the retail sector having either designed, planned, or managed nearly every format of aggregate retail globally and in the US. Key projects include the successful Bronx terminal Market, the first vertical big box shopping center in the US and particularly New York City. Ron was project manager for several Giorgio Armani boutiques interior designs and at Hudson Yards, Ron provided turn-key design and planning for multiple start up brick-and-mortar shops.

    Educated at the school of Architecture at Syracuse University and in Florence Italy, Ron has taught or lectured at the Boston Architectural College and NYU Shack Institute of Real Estate.
