Asbury Park Beach Ranks Among Top 25 In The Nation

Travel + Leisure published their list May 19, right before the official kick-off to summer of Memorial Day weekend.
The Asbury Park beach was named in a new list just released by Travel + Leisure of the Top 25 Beaches in the United States.
Travel + Leisure published their list May 19, right before the official kick-off to summer of Memorial Day weekend. Asbury Park is included among beaches such as Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, Poipu Beach in Hawaii, Coronado Beach in San Diego and Oak Street Beach on Lake Michigan.
And the Asbury Park beach will get even better this June, as Demi Lovato, Brian Fallon, The Smithereens and The B52s all play in one jam-packed weekend June 14-17 at the Stone Pony. It’s part of North to Shore, Gov. Murphy’s first-ever tech/music festival planned to take place in Newark, Atlantic City and Asbury Park for the last three weekends in June.
So far, North to Shore performers booked include Halsey (she plays in Newark), Demi Lovato and MONSTA X (at the Stone Pony), Santana (he plays in Newark), the B52s (Stone Pony), Alanis Morissette with Aimee Mann (they play in Newark June 22), Bill Burr, Jay Wheeler, Stephen Colbert with Jim Gaffigan, Marisa Monte, Natalie Merchant, The Smithereens, Gavin DeGraw, Colbie Caillat, Brian Fallon and local Jersey Shore band Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes.

- June 17 at 8 p.m. The Smithereens with Marshall Crenshaw at The Wonder Bar $40 – $45
- June 17 at 8 p.m. The B52’s Stone Pony Summer Stage Ticket prices not yet announced.
- Newark (June 21–25): All theNewark shows, including Carlos Santana and Alanis Morrisette with special guest Amie Mann.
